Approximate Costs of a Racing Season
Getting Started

After purchasing your car and trailer/transporter, you will need:
Driver safety equipment including helmet, race suit, gloves, boots etc.
Timing transponder (£200)
Championship Registration (£20) from the BARC


Running Costs
After purchasing your car, driver safety equipment etc., a full season of racing will cost around £5,000 excluding accident damage.
Typical running costs include:
race entry fees £145 per round;
testing fees will vary between £85 for a morning at Mallory Park to £200 for a full day at Snetterton;
race fuel, oil, brake pads and other consumable items would be about £900 for a season;
and tyres cost between £600 and £1,000 during the year.
